SERVICE PROJECTS
We are thrilled to be partnering with I Am Zambia for this expedition! We will be working in several areas of their organization including construction, education, and spending time with infants in the orphanage. We will be working very closely to educate women and children in computer skills to improve their current situations, unite their communities, and open doors to opportunities. Get ready to put on your gloves, and get to work!
Itinerary
Depart from your local city to Lusaka, Zambia (1 day of travel for USA).
THURSDAY JULY 12 – DAY 1
FRIDAY JULY 13 – DAY 2
Visit the school and other local organizations to give a real taste for the culture and society of Lusaka. In the evening, we’ll have dinner and have a group recap around a campfire.
SATURDAY JULY 14 – DAY 3
Service day! Put on your closed-toed shoes and your work gloves and lend a hand at the I Am Zambia Nampundwe Village campus.
SUNDAY JULY 15 – DAY 4
Attend a local church (if you like) and visit some of the I Am Zambia students with their families in the compound.
MONDAY JULY 16 – DAY 5
Service day! We will be jumping around to serve in different areas of the I Am Zambia organization.
TUESDAY JULY 17 – DAY 6
Service day! We’ll pick up where we left off on Saturday making an impact on the Nampundwe Village campus.
WEDNESDAY JULY 18 – DAY 7
Service day! We will be serving in different areas of the I Am Zambia organization. This is our last day with our incredible I Am Zambia hosts.
THURSDAY JULY 19 – DAY 8
Wake up and fly to the breathtaking views of Victoria Falls!
FRIDAY JULY 20 – DAY 9
SAFARI DAY!
