Fjadrargljufur Canyon was honestly one of the most beautiful places I have ever seen with my own two eyes. We started hiking up, and I thought that it would be pretty, but not this emotionally beautiful. We turned the corner to reveal the view, and my eyes welded up with tears! I was absolutely speechless. There are only three places in the world where I have gotten emotional over God’s creations, and this was one of them. There was also something special about it not being inhibited with too many people! I could have stayed up there for dayyyyyys. Lucy had a minor panic attack about every tiny bug that came near her, so Brad tried to tell her that they wouldn’t hurt her — He said that “Bees don’t exist in Iceland” as a HUGE bee flew in his face and he freaked out hahahah — that did NOT go over as planned! We hiked to the bottom of the canyon to hang out, and I think that was the highlight of the trip for me. Just enjoying each others company. Our girls took off their shoes to play in the water, and I just wanted to freeze time! Everything about it was just so magical. Then on our drive back home, we found this little road in the middle of a giant moss field! We parked and ran around like kids for a bit, while all of our girls fell asleep in the car. It was such an amazing day!
