We got invited to a private tour of the Midway Ice Castles, and it was way cooler (no pun intended) than I anticipated it to be! It was HUGE! Lucy’s eyes lit up, because we told her that it was Queen Elsa’s castle. 😉 I’m still in awe of how they even constructed it. The entire thing is made out of ice, there is no inner structure — It’s truly a work of art! We walked around and found the ice slides, which were so rad! Lucy played on them for two hours. Brad somehow squeezed down the slides too, and it was hilarious!

That was smart to go during the day! My kids could have played on those slides for hours, but our toes would have frozen solid!! The lights at night were gorgeous though!!
