“Toto, I’ve got a feeling we’re not in Kansas anymore…”
We had a little Halloween party on Saturday night, and all I have to say is that it what a GREAT reminder that I should never be brunette! Hahaha! Straight terrifying. 😉 This was a different kind of Halloween for us, since we usually go all out with homemade costumes, and throw a huge couples party! But I wont lie, it was nice to have a low key party with Brad’s family and the kids. Not to mention easy store bought costumes. 😉 We typically host our “Annual Haugen Halloween Party” with my brother Trevor at my parents house, and it just didn’t work out with them all going out of town this month, and me having my hands full with a newborn. It ended up being a good thing that we bagged the idea, especially because Trevor got the stomach flu and I got mastitis on the day that we were planning on hosting it! YIIIIIKKKES! I’m feeling a lot better now, but mastitis is NO JOKE. It put me straight in bed for a whole day. Anyway, I can’t wait to go trick or treating tonight with my little snuggly dog (Greta) and “fairy princess” (Lucy). If anyone mentions that she is dressed up as ‘the good witch’ she says “I not a witch!” Hahaha! So fairy princess it is. 😉 Have a happy and safe Halloween everyone!
