Something to be thankful for

^^ My sister Heather ^^

My Mom and a couple of my sisters went to California for a spontaneous girls trip this week. Our first day we walked around Balboa Island and stumbled upon this “Thankful Tree”. It was filled with written tags from people from all over, and all ages — it was so touching to read what everyone was thankful for. It has been a rocky last couple of months for me with my miscarriage, and especially for my sister Heather who delivered her second still-born baby at 20 weeks last month. I think that it was no coincidence that we stumbled upon this tree. There was one tag left for us all to share, and it was such a special moment of peace for us all to reflect on what we’re thankful for.
WHAT ARE YOU THANKFUL FOR?

How precious is this! From the first picture I knew it was Balboa Island. One of my favorite places. As well as Disneyland Hailey!! How cool that you found this tree 🙂
