Treasures I Call My Own

From the second I learned how to write, I have always had a journal. I have stacks of these little books, and one even from the first grade! It’s funny to look back on my little thoughts, and how much my handwriting hasn’t changed over the years. Haha! Every page feels like a little treasure.. Filled with stories, cut out pictures, and tickets from foreign cities. I write special things that are only for me, and it’s oddly therapeutic to know that whatever is written is safe between those pages… [besides this page I just exposed hehe] I kept telling Brad, “I would love some nice patio furniture to cozy up and write in my journal on.” and we finally got this patio set this week! During nap time, I have been escaping to write out there and it has felt so good. Although I have a blog, it will never replace my journal writing. ๐Ÿ™‚

I have a million journals as well! Although since I started my blog that has kinda fallen off. I need to get back into it. Its hard to completely let out all of your thoughts on a blog like you can in a journal.

I love journal writing! I've kept a journal for years! I blog now as well, but it really is so great to have a journal.

I have a journal too! But unlike you, my writing HAS BEEN CHANGED so much. When I was 9 or smth like that I used to write about…. nothing actually. But I was 9 so… (haha). Then I grew up a little and I was 13. I still used to write "safley". I hope you'll know what I mean. I didn't share my secrets and my actual thoughts with my diary. But now…. I'm 16 and I write about everything, mainly emotions and feelings. ๐Ÿ˜‰ love you xx
