Take Care

I was already feeling a little uneasy about out trip to England (traveling with morning sickness) when three days before our trip, Brad completely dislocated his ankle. He could hardly walk, and it was swollen the size of Texas! It made me nervous sick. I kept thinking “He is supposed to take care of me this trip, not me taking care of him!” But do you know what the funny part is? He still took care of me… And I took care of him! I know it sounds stupid, but neither of us had been sick at the same time before – and it was a genuine concern! But there was absolutely no problem. I asked the stewardess to fill his bag of ice while his leg sprawled across my lap, and he hobbled by my side, comforting me as I was dry heaving through the terminals. Isn’t that the beauty of marriage? The privilege of taking care of each other. We were definitely blessed this trip, Brad was up walking in no time – and I didn’t feel sick the day we had to film the wedding! Hooray!
All photos taken in Stony Stratford.
Last photo is Brad’s old tap studio. Yes you heard correctly! What I would pay to witness that tiny dancer…

That pretty much sums up marriage. Taking care of each other…even when you're feeling down yourself. Sacrifice and putting the other above yourself. ๐Ÿ™‚

Gorgeous pictures by the way! What a quaint little place!
