Crazy Life, Crazy Wife

“Crazy wife, crazy life.” – I know this is what Brad was thinking this last weekend. We flew in to Gothenburg and everything was going as planned until Saturday morning (The biggest day of the event). Brad was going to go film a couple helicopter shots early that morning, so I got up early with him so we could eat breakfast together. I felt uneasy and jet-lagged that morning, but decided to force down some breakfast anyway. I knew I wouldn’t have another chance to eat for a few hours. After breakfast we went our separate ways. I went up to our room and totally threw up my entire breakfast as Brad’s helicopter (That we’ve invested a stupid amount of money into) went out of control and smashed into a ferris wheel across the street. Neither of us got an international texting plan for this quick trip, so we had no idea what was going on with the other person! Being the baby that I am, I was bawling waiting for some kind of sympathy from Brad, as he was fuming coming up the elevator (empty handed) wanting sympathy from me. He came into the room, and all hell broke loose…

Brad: “I just spent an hour bushwhacking through trees and couldn’t find the helicopter!”
Me: “I don’t care about your stupid helicopter! I just barfed up my entire breakfast!”

I was still feeling shaky, and under stress. The event was literally starting in 5 minutes. We needed to be down there! We went into panic mode – Brad went to sit me down on the bed, and my head hit his mouth which caused him to bleed! Oh the drama! He grabbed the gear and headed down to the event. Shortly after I said a quick prayer and headed down. Do you know what the crazy part is? We ended up pulling through (completing the event video) and even cuddled to sleep laughing about our day that night – ha! I know that I can be such a crazy wife, and I am especially thankful to have such a patient husband at times like these. Something Brad and I always say to each other is “Remember, we’re on the same team!” Even though we went through a little bump this weekend, it only reassured me of what a great team we make. I seriously don’t know what I’d do without that guy. 🙂 Go team!

Haha I am not going to lie this post made me laugh. I find myself getting irritated at my husband easier than I did our first year if marriage. We have days like these and I'm usually the cause… And brayd is always the solution. He is the peace keeper. What would we do with out them? Haha

You guys…this story is so funny. I love it because it makes your marriage REAL. I can't even tell you how many moments Clayton and I have had like this!

oh girl. one of those days.
im pretty sure ryan thinks im crazy all the time.
just last night after stressful times at ikea, some girl stealing the desk i wanted at the thrift store, and ryan's ridiculously low blood sugar (he has diabetes so that matters haha) we had one of those nights.
then we decided to build our desk together and ended the night eating pizza at midnight and laughing til we fell asleep.
husbands are the best, and hormonal emotions suck haha.
